The Dutchman underwent medical tests at the J Medical this morning after being subbed off during an away game at Monza on Sunday night.

Several Italian sources, including Sky Sport Italia and Ilbianconero.com, claim that this morning’s tests ruled out a muscle lesion for the ex-Atalanta star.

Therefore, Juventus hope the 26-year-old will be available for selection on Sunday when they host Fiorentina at the Allianz Stadium in the last game of the year.

Koopmeiners has two goals and three assists in 19 appearances across all competitions this season.

Juventus said on Monday afternoon that the team trained this morning and has been given two days off on December 24 and 25.
