College football’s biggest teams continue their 2022 seasons during Saturday's Week 5 action. Here's a rundown of the day.
No. 1 Georgia 26, Missouri 22
Briefly: Daijun Edwards plunged into the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown with just over four minutes to go, completing No. 1 Georgia’s rally from 10 points down in the fourth quarter to beat Missour. Kendall Milton also scored in the fourth quarter for the Bulldogs,, who trailed almost the entire way before finally solving red-zone woes that forced Jack Podlesny to kick four field goals just in time to avoid the upset.
One highlight to watch: Georgia needed almost four quarters to finally take the lead against Missouri.

No. 2 Alabama 49, No. 19 Arkansas 26
Briefly: After Bryce Young was knocked out of the game with a shoulder injury in the second quarter, No. 2 Alabama turned to Jahmyr Gibbs and backup quarterback Jalen Milroe to pull away from Arkansas.
Alabama led 14-0 when Young was hurt. Milroe led Alabama to touchdowns on his first two drives to open a 28-0 lead. Arkansas scored the next 23 points, but on the first drive of the fourth, Milroe restored order for Alabama. His 77-yard scramble on third-and-15 set up the Crimson Tide for a score and then Gibbs ran 73 yards around the right side to givee Alabama a 19-point lead with 12:17 left. Gibbs would later add a 76-yard scoring run.

TOUGH LOSS: Alabama QB Bryce Young leaves game with shoulder injury
No. 3 Ohio State 49, Rutgers 10
Briefly: Miyan Williams carried the load for Ohio State, rushing for a career-high 189 yards and five touchdowns as the Buckeyes beat Rutgers. Williams, a third-year back, exploded for a 70-yard TD romp in the third quarter and also had four short scoring plunges.
One highlight to watch: Williams breaks free from the Rutgers defense for one of his five scores.

No. 4 Michigan 27, Iowa 14
Briefly: J.J. McCarthy threw for 155 yards and a touchdown and Blake Corum added 133 yards rushing and a late score as the Wolverines held off an Iowa rally in breaking a four-game losing streak in Iowa City. Michigan's defense had four sacks and held Iowa to its fourth game with under 300 total yards.

No. 5 Clemson 30, No. 10 North Carolina State 20
Briefly: DJ Uiagalelei ran for two touchdowns and threw for a third as Clemson won its 37th consecutive game at home and took control of the ACC Atlantic by beating North Carolina State. The Tigers completed a two-week stretch where they bested the two teams thought most likely to block their return atop the division — first with a 51-45 OT win at Wake Forest last Saturday and now the Wolfpack.

No. 6 Southern California 42, Arizona State 25
Briefly: Bouncing back after a disappointing performance in a close win at Oregon State, Caleb Williams passed for 348 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another score, keeping No. 6 Southern California unbeaten in coach Lincoln Riley's first season. The Sun Devils dropped to 1-4 after playing in their second game after coach Herm Edwards was fired.
No. 7 Oklahoma State 36, No. 14 Baylor 25
Briefly: Jaden Nixon returned the second-half kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown, and Oklahoma State beat Baylor 36-25 on Saturday in a rematch of last year’s Big 12 championship game. Nixon’s return started a flurry of 39 combined points in the third quarter. Cowboys quarterback Spencer Sanders finished 20-of-29 passing for 181 yards with a touchdown and an interception and ran 14 times for 75 yards.
One highlight to note: Nixon returns the second-half kickoff for a touchdown.

Briefly: Will Levis was sacked and lost the ball with 51 seconds left, and Ole Miss recovered to hold on for a key SEC victory. After Kentucky tied it at 19-19 with 6 minutes left in the third quarter, Jonathan Cruz kicked a 26 yard field goal for the Rebels less than four minutes later, and the defense shut down the Wildcats in the final quarter with two turnovers.

Briefly: Penn State remained unbeaten but it wasn't pretty. Playing in a driving rain, Sean Clifford threw for one score and Nicholas Singleton had 87 yards rushing and a score as the Nittany Lions set up an unbeaten showdown against Michigan next week.
One highlight to watch: Brenton Strange leaps into the end zone for a score.

No. 13 Utah 42, Oregon State 16
Briefly: Cameron Rising threw for 199 yards and three touchdowns and added 73 yards and a score on the ground to lead Utah to an easy defeat of Oregon State. The Utes forced four turnovers to avenge their only Pac-12 loss from last season. It was the first time Utah finished with four interceptions in a game since a 52-45 victory over UCLA in 2016.
No. 15 Oregon 45, Stanford 27
Briefly: Patrick Nix threw for two touchdowns and ran for a score before halftime, and Oregon jumped to a 31-3 at intermission and cruised to its fourth consecutive victory. Nix finished with 160 yards through the air and 141 yards on the ground, including an 80-yard score in the third quarter, to help the Ducks get some revenge against Stanford, which defeated them last season.

TCU 55, No. 16 Oklahoma 24
Briefly: TCU scored four touchdowns on plays of 60 yards or longer in blowing away the Sooners. The Horned Frogs had 41 points and 479 yards of offense in the first half to essentially end the game before intermission. Max Duggan threw for 302 yards and three touchdowns and added 112 yard and two scores on the ground in dealing the Sooners a second loss in row.
One highlight to watch: TCU receiver Taye Barber is somehow left wide open on a 73-yard pass play from Max Duggan.

Mississippi State 42, No. 17 Texas A&M 24
Briefly: Mississippi State forced Texas A&M into four turnovers, including three inside the red zone, Decamerion Richardson scooped up Emmanuel Forbes' critical third-quarter blocked field goal and returned it 50 yards for the touchdown as the Bulldogs dealt the Aggies their second loss of the season. Will Rogers threw for 329 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.

Linebacker Charlie Thomas recovered a fumble and picked off Pittsburgh quarterback Kedon Slovis to set up two of Gavin Edwards' five field goals as the inspired Yellow Jacket converted three Pitt turnovers into 13 points, including a 21-yard touchdown pass from Sims to E.J.
