Kings Forward Injured During Training Camp
The Los Angeles Kings and Arthur Akliyev ended an off-season long contract stalemate earlier this week.
He reported to training camp and was excited to be a part of the Kings organization again.
Unfortunately, on day two of training camp, he took a hit and suffered an injury.
In a report from Dennis Bernstein of the Fourth Period, Kaliyev's injury could require sugery and a long stay on the shelf.
Rough start to LAK training camp for a player that needed a strong preseason.

I'm told Arthur Kaliyev sustained an upper body injury in camp on a hit during practice on Friday that may require surgery and he is expected to miss a few months.— Dennis Bernstein (@DennisTFP) September 21, 2024
