Kevin Warren believes Bears' coaching job will be most coveted in NFL

Days after they made the decision to fire former head coach Matt Eberflus, Chicago Bears president Kevin Warren and general manager Ryan Poles met with the media to address the process that took place from firing Eberflus, as well as the future of the Bears franchise.

When addressing his optimism for the future, Warren said he believes the head coaching job for the Bears will be the most coveted job in the NFL this offseason.

Citing the amount of cap space the team will have, which is estimated over $80 million, plenty of draft capital in the 2025 NFL draft, and the opportunity to coach young rising quarterback Caleb Williams, Warren doesn't see a better job available in the NFL going into this offseason.

"This will be the most coveted job in the National Football League this year," Warren said.

There are many favorable opportunities for the next head coach of the Bears, who joined the New Orleans Saints and New York Jets as teams who fired their head coach during the regular season. Given just those three teams with vacancies, it is hard to argue that the Bears won't be the most attractive spot as of this writing. But there will also likely be more by season's end.
