Kevin Harvick’s not going to win four races in a row.

Harvick appeared to wreck himself while racing with Kyle Larson during the first stage of Sunday’s Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway. The two drivers were racing for third and Harvick slid loose off the exit of turn 2 ahead of Larson on lap 37.

As Larson pulled alongside on the backstretch, Harvick moved down. The contact the two drivers made sent Harvick’s car into the outside wall and then towards the infield.

The damage to Harvick’s car was significant and he fell two laps behind the leaders as his crew attempted to fix the car.

Harvick, who won at Atlanta, Las Vegas and last week at Phoenix, was trying to be the first driver over 40 to win four straight races since Harry Gant and the first driver since Jimmie Johnson in 2007 to win four straight.
