Kevin Byard gave telling response about Bears coaching staff

As they extended their losing streak to three games, the Chicago Bears locked room seems to be falling apart. After two gut-wrenching losses on the road, the Bears returned home to Chicago and Soldier Field to take on the 2-7 New England Patriots and were embarrassed throughout all four quarters in a 19-3 loss.

Speaking to the media after the game, captain and veteran safety Kevin Byard, in his first year with the team, was asked about the coaching staff and if he felt that they had lost the locker room. In a short, yet telling, response Byard refused to get into the relationship between players and coaches.

"I'm not gonna go there," Byard said, via Marquee Sports Network.

Not even addressing the question should bring concern about the current state of dysfunction for the Bears franchise. Even worse than the question and answer int he locker room, fans at Soldier Field were calling for the firing of Matt Eberflus with chants heard loudly throughout the stadium.

It remains to be seen what, if any, changes will be made by this organization, but right now nothing feels to be in a positive direction.
