City’s latest January acquisition, Kerolin Nicoli's shirt number has been finalised after the completion of her transfer to the Club.

The Brazil international has become Gareth Taylor’s side’s third winter signing, penning a three-and-a-half-year deal which will keep her at the Joie Stadium until the summer of 2028.

And we can confirm the 2023 NWSL Most Valuable Player will wear the No.14 shirt during her time in sky blue – becoming only the fifth player to do so.

The last player to wear the jersey was Alanna Kennedy who had the number from the start of this season, but her departure earlier in January to Angel City left it vacant.

Before the Australia international held No.14,  Academy graduate Esme Morgan had the number emblazoned on her shirt between 2018 and 2024 where she totalled 87 appearances for the Club, winning two major honours, before joining Washington Spirit last summer.

The other two players to have No.14 since our professional relaunch in 2014 were Nikki Harding that year and Melissa Lawley between 2017 and 2018.
