Our Town is returning to Broadway for the first time in nearly 25 years, and it's coming with a star-studded cast of actors.

Thornton Wilder’s timeless play — about life in the village of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire — will come to life again this fall, in a limited engagement production directed by Tony Award-winner Kenny Leon. Previews begin Tuesday, Sept. 17 ahead of an opening on Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Barrymore Theatre in New York City.

A whopping 28 actors will star in the play, led by Emmy winner Jim Parsons as the drama's "stage manager" narrator. He's currently in Mother Play, which is set to open April 25 and play through June 16.

Joining Parsons in Our Town is Katie Holmes, returning to Broadway for the first time in over a decade. She made her Broadway debut in the 2008 revival of All My Sons, and last treaded the boards in 2012's Dead Accounts.

Holmes will play Mrs. Webb in the show, opposite Tony and Emmy winner Richard Thomas, perhaps best known for playing budding author John-Boy Walton in the CBS drama series The Waltons. He's had a long career on Broadway, Our Town marking his 15th credit. He has also starred in acclaimed revivals of The Great Society (2019), The Little Foxes (2017) and You Can't Take It With You (2014).

Set it Up actress Zoey Deutch will fill out the family as Emily Gibbs. This will be her Broadway debut.

The Webb family, the other unit in the center of Our Town's story, will be played by Billy Eugene Jones (Dr. Gibbs), Tony Award-nominee Michelle Wilson (Mrs. Gibs) and Tony and Grammy Award-nominee Ephraim Sykes (George Gibbs).

Tony winner Julie Halston (Hairspray, Thomas' costar in You Can't Take It With You) rounds out the principal cast as Mrs. Soames, with Donald Webber Jr. (Purlie Victorious: A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton Patch, Hamilton) playing Simon Stimson.

Other roles will be played by Ephie Aardema, Heather Ayers, Willa Bost, Bobby Daye, Safiya Kaijya Harris, Doron JéPaul, Shyla Lefner, Anthony Michael Lopez, John McGinty, Bryonha Marie, Kevyn Morrow, Hagan Oliveras, Noah Pyzik, Sky Smith, Bill Timoney, Matthew Elijah Webb and Nimene Sierra Wureh.

The final two actors will be announced at a later date.
