Kansas State Wildcats land coveted football recruit from Blue Valley Northwest

Chris Klieman and the Kansas State football team have scored an important victory when it comes to recruiting.

Brock Heath, a 6-foot-5 and 258-pound offensive lineman from Blue Valley Northwest, announced his intentions to play for the Wildcats via social media on Thursday.

His commitment is a big deal for K-State because it faced lots of competition for Heath. He chose K-State over Arkansas, Baylor, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Northwestern, Nebraska, Michigan State, Missouri and many others.

Heath is considered a four-star recruit by both On3 and ESPN. He is a three-star recruit at 247sports and Rivals.

On3 ranks him as the No. 7 recruit in the Sunflower State and the No. 286 recruit at the national level.

K-State has found success recruiting in the Kansas City area of late, as it also reeled in three-star linebacker Maguire Richman out of Blue Valley last week. With Heath on board, the Wildcats have three in-state recruits lined up for its 2025 recruiting class. That number could grow in the near feature if five-star tight end Linkon Cure, of Goodland, decides to wear purple at some point this summer.

Overall, the Wildcats have landed commitments from 11 prospects in the class of 2025. For now, Heath is the highest-rated member of the club.
