Kansas game prediction

This game is as close as it gets to a must-win this early in the season — for both teams.

The Horned Frogs allow opponents to score 32 points per game and struggle to contain the run. TCU’s opponents have averaged 176.2 yards on the ground.

In other words, expect the Jayhawks to throw plenty of Devin Neal and Daniel Hishaw at the Frogs.

TCU QB Josh Hoover, meanwhile, will test KU’s defense. Hoover has completed 111 of 167 passes (69.2%) for 1,418 yards and 11 touchdowns through four games.

If Kansas can keep him in check, the Jayhawks should end their losing streak.

Prediction: Kansas 28, TCU 24
