Juventus’ transfer decision on Newcastle and West Ham defenders as priority emerges
Juventus are unwilling to sign a centre-back on a permanent transfer this month as their priority is Feyenoord’s David Hancko, who the Bianconeri hope to welcome in the summer.
Juventus are expected to sign one more defender after Alberto Costa and Renato Veiga, and several sources in Italy claim their primary options are West Ham’s Jean-Clair Todibo and Newcastle’s Lloyd Kelly.
As highlighted by Tuttosport, however, Juventus are unwilling to sign any of them on a permanent transfer this month as their priority defence target is Hancko.

Feyenoord, however, are unwilling to sell their centre-back in the current transfer window, so the Bianconeri are aware they must wait until June.
At the same time, Thiago Motta needs another central defender, given that Gleison Bremer will remain out of action with a knee injury until the end of the season.
Juventus already replaced another injured defender, Juan Cabal, with Alberto Costa, while Chelsea’s Renato Veiga is on the verge of moving to Turin to replace Danilo, who has terminated his contract at the Allianz Stadium.
