Juventus interested in Lecce’s Patrick Dorgu

Serie A outfits Juventus set to battle it out with Manchester United as the race for Lecce’s Patrick Dorgu heats up.

According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are preparing for the event of full-back Andrea Cambiaso’s potential departure and therefore have kept Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu under their radar.

Manchester City is considering a deadline-day approach for Cambiaso with an offer worth €60 million. The sum would replenish the Bianconeri’s coffers and they could then go for a permanent transfer for the 20-year-old left-back.

Negotiations between Man United and Lecce are currently underway regarding the future of Dorgu and Juventus can enter this race soon in hopes of beating the Premier League side to the signing.

Lecce are considering offers of around €30 million for Dorgu and the Old Lady should not have any problem in splashing out the amount if they manage to sell Cambiaso to Man City.
