Justin Verlander had a great reaction after Giants reporter noticed he was using Kate Upton's Zoom account

We've had so much practice with virtual meetings over the past five years that it's almost incomprehensible that people still forget to mute themselves in 2025. But it happens.

And it made for such a funny moment during Justin Verlander's introductory Zoom call with Giants reporters on Monday.

As the Giants PR staff was speaking during the Zoom meeting, an unmuted reporter could be heard pointing out the name on the three-time Cy Young Award winner's Zoom account. Verlander was using the account that belonged to his wife and model, Kate Upton. So, his name was displayed as, well, Kate Upton.

When the reporters were being reminded to set themselves to mute, Verlander chimed in to say, "I'll change it. All right. I'll change it."

And his revision did not disappoint. For the rest of the call, Verlander's name was set to, "JUSTIN VERLANDER (not Kate)."

Well played, Justin. Well played. He had to clear that one up.
