Justin Danforth Practicing With Main Group Today
Per Jeff Svoboda, forward Justin Danforth practiced with the main group today. An encouraging sign for the 31-year-old winger from Oshawa, Ontario.
Danforth suffered a lower-body injury against the Philadelphia Flyers on December 10th and hasn't played since.
#CBJ doing an optional practice today after last night’s win. Justin Danforth is out with the main group. Hasn’t played since Dec. 10 because of a lower body injury.

Danforth was having a bit of a down year before getting hurt. In 25 games, he only managed 3 goals and 8 points while averaging 15:30 TOI. Last season, he 26 points in 71 games.
So who comes out when Danforth is ready? Our best guess would be Mikael Pyyhtiä or Luca Del Bel Belluz. Although both have played well in their roles, having another veteran like Justin Danforth playing every night can't be understated. Del Bel Belluz could be optioned back to Cleveland to continue playing.
