Jude Bellingham & Vinícius Jr. respond to Luka Modrić’s new Real Madrid contract

Two leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have taken to social media, to respond to news of teammate Luka Modrić signing a new contract.

The name of veteran midfielder Modrić has of course taken its place front and centre in Spain’s capital across the day to date.

As much comes after the Croatian’s future was at long last confirmed.

After Modrić’s terms in Madrid came to a close late last month, it had since been considered a matter of when, rather than if a new deal would be announced for the 38-year-old.

And, on Monday afternoon, precisely as much was indeed forthcoming.

As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of the Spanish champions, Modrić has committed his future to the club for another 12 months.

News of the midfield icon’s decision to stay put has since been met with widespread approval, on the part of all associated with Real Madrid.

In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of two high-profile members of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad this evening moving to make clear their delight.
