The transfer window is now drawing to a close for this summer, and Chelsea are still going to be one of the busiest clubs for the remainder of the window.

That is according to one reliable journalist this weekend, who says even though the club have been really busy already, Blues fans might need to strap themselves in for some more transfer drama from now until the end of this month when the window closes.

Chelsea have signed plenty of players this summer and could still bring more. But as well as that, they will be looking to sell players.

Matt Law of The Telegraph has the updates.

He claims Chelsea will remain one of the busiest clubs in the transfer window. They remain ready to react to the market should a place in Enzo Maresca’s squad be freed up by an exit or an opportunity presents itself as a result of moves elsewhere.

Chelsea are reportedly aiming to sell or loan out at least 6 to 7 senior players this window, and the likes of Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka, Armando Broja, Trevoh Chalobah, Marc Guiu, Samu Omorodion all mentioned as potential outgoings still, with the latter two being loans.

They could also still sign more players, with Victor Osimhen mentioned once again in the report.

Chelsea’s main focus for now, however, revolves around cutting the size of the first-team squad, with sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart said to be working 16-hour days to try to get through all the necessary work.
