Josh Reddick announced last month that he and his wife are expecting twins, but the Houston Astros outfielder helped two other fans share their big news as well.

Before Friday’s 4-3 win over the Boston Red Sox, Reddick met with Gabriel Quesada in the right field corner, where Quesada tossed Reddick the gender reveal ball to hit.

According to KHOU.com, Quesada had contacted Reddick two weeks earlier to plan the reveal, and the duo finally was able to put on the show. Afterward, Reddick autograph the bat he used and gave it to the expecting father.

As an added bonus, Quesada and his wife are reportedly planning to name the boy Kai Redd Quesada with the middle name a nod to the outfielder.

Gender reveals have become more prominent lately with plenty of athletes using creative means of exploding blue or pink objects. The good news is that Quesada made a quality throw and Reddick actually made contact, unlike this unfortunate couple.
