The Winnipeg Jets will be sending Josh Morrissey, Connor Hellebuyck and Kyle Connor to the Four Nations face-off tournament next February. Hellebuyck and Connor will be representing Team USA while Morrissey will be representing Team Canada.

This is the first time these players will be able to represent their country in a best-on-best setting as they were able to before other than IIHF World Championship play.

Morrissey has a pair of goals and 21 assists for 23 points in 26 games this season which leaves him on pace for one of his best seasons yet.

The 29-year-old Calgary native has represented his country on several occasions with his biggest impact being felt in the 2013 U18 World Junior Championships, where he recorded three goals and four assists for seven points, playing in the same lineup as Team Canada teammates Connor McDavid, Sam Reinhart and Sam Bennett.

Hellebuyck was a lock for Team USA as he's arguably the best goaltender on the planet with a 15-5-0 record and a 2.16 goals against average this season. He has represented his country on several occasions and has been a difference maker like his 2014 World Championship performance with USA where he recorded a 1.37 goals against average and a 7-1-0 record.

Connor was another easy pick for Team USA as the Michigan native has 13 goals and 16 assists for 29 points in 26 games this season. He's represented Team USA just twice and will certainly love the opportunity to showcase his developed skills that will make him a key player for the Americans.

Some Jets that were surprisingly left off rosters were centre's Mark Scheifele and Adam Lowry, who have both played pivotal roles in the Jets success early on this season.

The "Four Nations Face-Off" is an international tournament featuring four teams, Canada, USA, Sweden and Finland, competing in a series of matches. Montreal & Boston serve as host cities as the best players come together on the world stage. You'll be able to watch on TNT, ESPN & ABC in US; Sportsnet & TVA in Canada.
