With four weeks left in the NFL season, the MVP race is close to being called. The leader by a wide margin is Josh Allen.

Allen put distance between himself and the next closest player in the award race with a historic performance Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. He became the first player in NFL history to throw for three touchdowns and run for three touchdowns in a single regular-season game. He finished with 342 passing yards and 82 rushing yards.

The game moved Allen's odds to win MVP from -225 entering Week 14 to -500 at BetMGM. The next closest player is Saquon Barkley at +350, with Lamar Jackson (+1400) and Jared Goff (+1800) fading further into the background. It's a lead Allen isn't likely to lose without a complete meltdown.

And to demonstrate just how good he was Sunday, Allen widened that odds gap in a loss.

Despite Allen's best efforts, the Rams beat the Bills 44-42. The loss dropped Buffalo to 10-3 on the season, which trails the Chiefs by two games for the AFC's No. 1 seed.

The Bills have another tough game coming up in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions, which can further cement Allen as MVP if he outduels Goff. After that, they have two games against the Patriots and one against the Jets, all games the Bills should win for a strong finish to Allen's MVP campaign.
