Jonathan Goodwin visiting Saints

Veteran center Jonathan Goodwin visited the New Orleans Saints today.

Goodwin was with the Saints previously for five seasons.

The 49ers signed backup Daniel Kilgore to a three-year contract earlier this offseason.

He signed a three-year contract with the 49ers in 2011.

Before last season, Goodwin had his base salary reduced from $3.7 million to $2.5 million. In turn, the 49ers guaranteed $1 million of his base salary.

Goodwin joined the team in 2011 and has made 85 consecutive starts in the NFL
