Jonas Brodin Won't Play The Next Two Games
The Minnesota Wild (26-12-4) are on the road for a back-to-back before they return home. They face the San Jose Sharks (13-25-6) on Saturday and the Vegas Golden Knights (28-10-3) on Sunday.
They will head into the back-to-back games shorthanded. Kirill Kaprizov will not play in either of them. He stayed back home in Minnesota with Jonas Brodin and Brock Faber.
Brodin, 31, was injured, along with Faber, in the Wild's game against the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday. Neither of them joined the team out west.
In the game in which the Wild were without Kaprizov, Brodin, Faber, Jared Spurgeon, and Jakub Lauko, they let up six to the Colorado Avalanche. Now they will be without all of them again. It is unclear if Lauko will play soon but he is nearing a return.
