John Tavares is set to return to the Maple Leafs lineup after missing the team’s last seven games with a broken finger, head coach Mike Babcock confirmed Tuesday.
Tavares sustained the injury back on Oct. 16 in Toronto’s 4-3 loss to the Washington Capitals.
The 29-year-old has seven points in eight games this season after tallying 47 goals and 41 helpers in his first campaign with the Leafs in 2018-19.
