Top Nashville Predators prospect Joakim Kemell will be heading to the 2025 AHL All-Star Game as a replacement for Predators forward Vinnie Hinostroza, the AHL Milwaukee Admirals announced Tuesday morning.

Kemell, 20, was drafted 17th overall by the Predators in the 2022 NHL Draft and is currently playing his second full season of professional hockey in North America.

The Finn enjoyed an impressive start to life in the Predators organization, joining the Predators towards the end of 2022-23 and recording six goals, seven assists, and 13 points in 14 regular season games. In 14 Calder Cup playoff games, Kemell racked up eight goals, two assists, and 10 points.

Kemell played his first full season with the Admirals a year ago, scoring 16 goals, 25 assists, and 41 points in 67 games before adding three goals, eight assists, and 11 points in 15 postseason contests.

So far this season, the future Predators talisman has notched nine goals, 14 assists, and 23 points in 37 games. Kemell will replace Hinostroza, who leads the Admirals with 33 points in 26 games, at the AHL All-Star Game in Coachella Valley, Calif.

The AHL All-Star Skills Competition will take place on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 8 p.m., and the AHL All-Star Challenge will take place on Feb. 3 at 8 p.m.
