Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have taken a 1-0 lead over a visiting Toulouse during tonight's matchday 12 clash in the French capital.

Wanting to stay comfortably ahead of in-form Monaco in the table, Luis Enrique's outfit finally turned dominance into something tangible thanks to Portuguese international midfielder João Neves.

The former Benfica man broke the deadlock in the 35th minute of action at the Parc des Princes with a fantastic volley from just outside the box after Achraf Hakimi spotted him unmarked from a dead-ball situation.

It is Neves' second goal of the 2024-25 Ligue 1 campaign since his arrival from Portugal in the summer transfer window, which currently sees PSG six points clear at the top should this result hold.
