Jets Seek Revenge Against Utah Just Days After Being Thoroughly Defeated
The Winnipeg Jets were defeated 5-2 by Utah HC in what HC Scott Arniel called "embarrassing" but will have the chance to avenge that loss.
Arniel said the effort against Utah was embarrassing from top to bottom but took the blame for the loss. The Jets had found themselves down 4-0 Utah in the third period after giving up multiple transition goals. The Jets will be punished again tonight if they aren't prepared for Utah's counterattacks.
Nikolaj Ehlers is likely to be out tonight with an illness and Brad Lambert has been called up to replace him. Lamber has skated in four games this season and will be in search of his first point if Ehlers is unable to play.

The Jets responded well to Arniel's comments against the Colorado Avalanche, winning 3-2 in overtime. Neal Pionk scored the overtime winner and it was identical to one he had a few years back.

Connor Hellebuyck will be in between the pipes for the Jets and will once again battle Connor Ingram. Ingram stopped 23 of the 25 shots he faced during Monday's game.
Puck drop is at 7:00 P.M. CST at The Canadian Life Centre.
