Jets Host The Predators As They Look To End Their Three-Game Losing Streak

The Winnipeg Jets are on a mini slide right now, losing three in a row but look for a change of fortune with the Nashville Predators coming into town.

With losses to the Colorado Avalanche, Anaheim Ducks and Detroit Red Wings, the Jets must right the ship to regain control of the Central Division. The Jets have allowed teams too much time and space and they've paid the price for it, allowing four or more goals in each of their last three games.

The Minnesota Wild now sit just two points back of the Jets with a game in hand and both the Avalanche and the Dallas Stars are both creeping closer to the Jets.

The Jets saw Dylan Samberg return to practice today in a regular jersey but he won't be available tonight against the Predators. Dylan Coghlan will step back into the lineup to replace the injured Colin Miller. Miller is currently dealing with a fractured larynx and will be out for a minimum of two weeks.

The Jets and Predators met just eight days ago with the Jets coming out on top, shutting out the Predators. Gabriel Vilardi scored two power play goals that night and they'll need his net front presence to obstruct Juuse Saros.

Battling Saros will be Connor Hellebuyck. He'll get his third attempt at reaching the 300 win mark.

Puck drop is at 7:00 P.M. CST at the Canadian Life Centre.
