Jets Anticipating The Return Of Veteran Centre
The Winnipeg Jets are anticipating the return of Vladislav Namestnikov tonight against Utah HC.
Namestnikov has been out of the Jets lineup for 10 days after he suffered a lower-body injury. The 32-year-old played in 43 games before sustaining the injury, scoring nine goals and 20 points. He'll return to play on the Jets' third line with Cole Perfetti and Nino Niederreiter.
He had been playing with Nikolaj Ehlers for most of the season but recently Ehlers has found success playing alongside Adam Lowry and Alex Iafallo.
Colin Miller made his return to the Jets' lineup on Saturday where he recorded an assist in 15:57 of ice time. He'll keep his spot in the lineup and will play alongside Logan Stanley.
Haydn Fleury has been out since Dec. 23 and will remain out as he and the Jets training staff continue to work on his recovery. Mason Appleton skated with the team in a regular practice jersey but still needs time to recover from his lower-body ailment.
