Jennifer Lopez is known for having some of the best hair in the business, and thankfully her hairstylist is sharing the secret behind her shiny, glossy locks. After Lopez served up a stunning look at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, Chris Appleton, celebrity hairstylist and global creative director of Color Wow, shared all of the details that went into creating the hairstyle. While multiple products were involved, the clear star of the show was the £20 Color Wow Extra Mist-ical Shine Spray.

To create the look, Appleton (whose clients also include Kim Kardashian and Drew Barrymore) first prepped Lopez’s hair with the Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray for a 'glossy, ultra-smooth finish'.

He then sculpted the singer’s signature half-up-half-down style by applying Color Wow’s Cult Favorite Firm + Flexible Hairspray to a boar bristle brush to help smooth down the top section and create a sleek look. After using a barrel iron to give the hair movement, Appleton went in with the Extra Mist-ical Shine Spray 'to give the hair that infamous, glossy look with a soft bounce on the ends,' before reapplying the Firm + Flexible Hairspray to smooth down any baby hairs and finish the look.

Judging by the reviews, it’s safe to say that the Marry Me star isn’t the only one obsessed with this spray.

It works by keeping hair looking shiny and healthy without making it greasy or weighing it down. 'This spray is the best! It makes my hair shine like diamonds and it’s bouncy and not greasy,' one reviewer says. 'It looks like I went to the salon,' another adds.

Even if you don’t have a personal stylist like Lopez, this spray is a quick and easy way to achieve luscious locks, and we can’t get enough of it.
