Jaroš starts! Brighton and Liverpool name their starting XIs

Liverpool continue their defence of the EFL Cup trophy as they travel to Brighton with a place in the quarter-final at stake.

In a twist of fate from the fixture list, Liverpool will also host Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.

Brighton are without defender Lewis Dunk, and are also missing James Milner and star striker João Pedro.

Meanwhile, Diogo Jota, Federico Chiesa, Alisson and Harvey Elliott are still in Liverpool’s treatment room and Vítězslav Jaroš gets his full debut in goal.
