🎯 Jamie Vardy following in CR7's footsteps with goal vs Nottingham Forest

Jamie Vardy joined Cristiano Ronaldo in the record books with a goal against Nottingham Forest, continuing his impressive start to the season.

The Englishman brought his side level against the Garibaldi as he turned in a cross from Harry Winks, grabbing his fourth goal of the campaign in the process.

And in doing so, he became the first man since Ronaldo over the age of 37 to score in back to back Premier League games, and the first in two years to achieve the feat.

In fact, he has become the fourth oldest player to ever achieve the feat, behind only Teddy Sheringham, Ryan Giggs and Graham Alexander.

Perhaps no longer as blisteringly-fast as he was in previous seasons, Vardy's goalscoring record still speaks for itself in Leicester colours.

One of the last true Barclaysmen.
