Six months after the actor, 55, dealt with a medical emergency, he showed off his swing in a new video shared on Instagram, and said he was channeling golf superstar Tiger Woods.

Foxx is seen in the video working on his execution by fixing his posture and grip on the club, before making the ball go the distance.

He credited Tiger Woods as his inspiration by writing in the caption, "#onmytigerwoodss--t #nobaddays #affahleet."

Foxx opened up about his medical scare for the first time in a candid video shared on Instagram in July.

"Now, you know, by being quiet sometimes things get out of hand," he said. "People saying what I got, some people said I was blind, but as you can see ... the eyes are working just fine. Said I'm paralyzed — I'm not paralyzed."

"But I did go through ... I went to hell and back," he added. "And my road to recovery had some potholes as well. But I'm coming back. And I'm able to work." In August, he gave a new update on his health by sharing photos from inside a car to reveal that he was back to driving again.

Woods, Foxx's inspiration, is working back from medical issues of his own. The golf pro has been struggling with ongoing pain after suffering serious injuries in his California single-car accident in February 2021. In April, he told reporters that he is struggling with “constant” leg pain and had to withdraw from the Masters before the fourth round, having re-aggravated his plantar fasciitis.

Woods underwent “successful” fusion surgery on his ankle later that month to address arthritis issues in his leg.

In September, a source told PEOPLE that Foxx "is doing fantastic" and that his girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp is a "total sweetheart."

Foxx first sparked romance rumors with Huckstepp in August when they were spotted dining with a group at Nobu in nearby Malibu. A month later, they were spotted enjoying a beach vacation in Mexico.
