Jaguar launches the XE at the Auto Expo

British car maker Jaguar Land Rover today officially launched its luxury sedan the XE in India. The XE is the most affordable Jaguar in India, and will clash with the likes of BMW 3 series and Audi A4 in the entry premium car segment. The XE is priced at Rs. 39.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Both Petrol and Diesel engines on the new XE are 2.0 litre units. While the Diesel gives 180 PS at 4,000 Rpm the Petrol gives 200 PS at 5,500 Rpm. Speed of 0-100 can be achieved in 7.7 seconds and the top speed is 237 kms/hr.

Inside the ZE is loaded with features, some of which include a touch screen infotainment system, Navigation and a 17-speaker 825 watt meridian sound system. Finally, the new XE also comes with safety features like autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning and a blind spot monitor.
