Not since Beatlemania in the 1960s has an Englishman’s arrival in the United States prompted such hysteria as Jack Grealish’s visit to New York City.

OK, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but it’s fair to say a few local fans were pleased to see the Manchester City winger when he visited the Big Apple this week on the club’s US pre-season tour.

What a heartthrob eh?

Grealish and his City team-mates were in the city ahead of their meeting with AC Milan at Yankee Stadium this weekend, and manager Pep Guardiola also got the chance to show off his basketball skills.

There was also time for a trip to Central Park.

Where Pep also showed off some ball skills of another variety.

And the club’s new third kit was also on display for their Stateside supporters.

If they can make it there, they’re gonna make it anywhere.
