J.T. Miller Reportedly Has Reached Point Where He Is Ready To Move On From Canucks

While no formal trade request has been made, J.T. Miller’s time with the Vancouver Canucks may be quickly coming to an end.

NHL insider Frank Seravalli provided some insight into the thinking of both the Canucks organization and Miller at this current moment.

“The Canucks seems to have reached a point where they are ready to move on from Miller. Likewise, Miller seems to have reached a point where he is ready to move on from the Canucks,” Seravalli wrote.

This all stems from a reported feud between Miller and Elias Pettersson that has essentially derailed Vancouver's season thus far.

The Canucks are not just willing to trade Miller without getting what they deem as maximum value though.

“The hold up is that the Canucks are trying to extract the most value possible for a very distressed asset,” Seravalli wrote.

The New York Rangers have not only been linked to Miller, but reportedly were progressing in trade talks with the Canucks for the veteran forward.

At this point in time, that original deal originally being discussed between the Rangers and Canucks is on the back burner. That doesn't mean the Blueshirts are out of these sweepstakes.

There is a lot going on in Vancouver as all eyes remain glued to the Canucks.
