Ivan Juric analyzes Roma 2-1 Venezia: “I like our young players a lot.”
Roma manager Ivan Juric spoke to DAZN shortly after Roma beat Venezia 2-1.
In his post-match interview, Juric said, “In the second half we played better, we were fresher and we raised the pace. On Thursday we played a game of crazy intensity, it’s normal that some of us were a little behind in rhythm today.”
“We have 4/5 young players with who are really excellent to work with. They have enthusiasm, talent and energy, they have an incredible energy.”
“You have to be clear in your choices but they are beautiful, pure and I like them a lot. Pisilli, Baldanzi, Soulé and Koné are the ones you always want to work with.”
“Those who came off the bench gave a big hand. Some had a drop in performance but it is very understandable after the match with Athletic.”
“I was very happy with that match. It happens to concede goals from set pieces, but the desire to win has never been lacking. I see it every day and today they showed it again. The group works hard and wants to grow, I am very confident for the future.”
“We played two excellent games against Udinese and Athletic, today the second half was very good. We need to improve in preventive coverage and control, but the credit also goes to Venezia who play good football.”
