Italy Superstar Ready To Return To Training For Inter Milan After Successful Nose Operation
Midfielder Nicolo Barella is ready to return to training for Inter Milan following a successful nose operation at the start of the international break.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter and Italy midfielder Barella took this international break as an opportunity to undergo a nose operation.
The procedure was not to correct any sort of sporting injury. Rather, the former Cagliari midfielder went under the knife to correct a problem with his nasal septum and allow him to breathe more comfortably.
This followed an agreement between Inter and Italy medical staff that the break was a perfect opportunity for the operation.
And the Nerazzurri confirmed that the surgery was a complete success.

Barella underwent surgery right at the start of the international break.
And for the last week, the 27-year-old has been recovering from the procedure.
The surgery that Barella underwent was fairly minor and non-invasive. Therefore, the recovery procedure has not been a long one.
However, naturally the midfielder has not been able to train with teammates for a few days, given the risk of contact that would cause problems for the healing.
But now, the Corriere reports, Barella is all ready to return to training with his teammates.
The Italian international should be participating in tomorrow’s session.
The question then is whether Barella will be in the Inter starting eleven for their first match back from the break away to Monza.
Inter have a punishing week on the horizon. Right after the break, they face Monza, Manchester City, and city rivals AC Milan in the space of seven days.
Therefore, Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi will have to think carefully about how to rotate his squad and manage the fitness of key players.
But the coach will certainly welcome Barella’s return to training.
The 27-year-old has had an opportunity to rest and train individually to keep his fitness levels up. And now, he will be back in full training to prepare to the intense weeks ahead.
