Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma finished in fourth place in the 2024 Yachine Trophy rankings at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris on Monday evening, followed up by Yann Sommer of Inter in fifth and Mike Maignan of Milan in sixth.

Aston Villa and Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez walked away with the main prize in the Yachine trophy, the award for the goalkeeper of the year. As that particular award has only been running since 2019, ‘Dibu’ became the first goalkeeper to win on multiple occasions, and also the first to win it in back-to-back years.

Ballon d’Or: Final 2024 Yachine Trophy rankings 

There are still several awards left to give out, including the Coach of the Year and the overall winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or.

Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal walked away with the Kopa Trophy, while Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappé shared the Gerd Müller award. Real Madrid were awarded with the men’s Club of the Year.
