Italy & Netherlands Stars “Quintuple” Transfer Value After Four Seasons Of Growth At Inter Milan
Wingbacks Federico Dimarco and Denzel Dumfries have seen their transfer market values “quintuple” across their time at Inter Milan.
This is the view in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Wingbacks Dimarco and Dumfries both had outstanding matches for Inter against Lazio on Monday.
The flanks were a key battle in that match.
And the Nerazzurri coped well in the early stages as Lazio looked to aggressively push them back.
Then, Dimarco and Dumfries were at the heart of Inter absolutely dominating in the final third after weathering an initial storm.
Both starting Inter wide players got on the scoresheet. It was Dumfries who assisted Dimarco initially, before he headed home himself.
Federico Dimarco & Denzel Dumfries “Quintuple” Value At Inter
As the Gazzetta note, Inter essentially “signed” Dimarco for €5.2 million.
That is the buyback option that the Nerazzurri paid to Sion for the Italian international, who had come through their academy.
Then, Dumfries cost a total of around €15.1 million.
That is the total fee that the Nerazzurri paid PSV to sign the Dutchman in 2021. He was the replacement for Achraf Hakimi at right-wingback.
As such, the total expenditure in transfer fees for Dimarco and Dumfries was around €20 million.
And now, Inter would expect to receive fees totalling €100 million if they were to sell the pair.
