Italy midfielder Sandro Tonali picked the perfect time to grab his maiden goal for the national team as he put his side into the lead against Belgium.

Unbeaten in the Nations League so far, Italy travelled to Belgium knowing a win would put them in pole position to top the group, and they got the game off to a perfect start.

After dominating the ball for much of the opening quarter of an hour, the Azzurri took the lead as Tonali burst into the six yard box to apply the finishing touch to a wicked cross from fullback Giovanni di Lorenzo.

Can they hold on to a vital three points?
