Italian Transfer Expert On Wantaway Inter Milan Midfielder’s Dilemma: ‘He’s Not Happy, But Inter Won’t Sell For Less Than €45+’
SportItalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla believes Davide Frattesi is unhappy at Inter Milan, but the Nerazzurri will stick to their asking price.
Pedulla spoke about the 25-year-old’s situation at the Nerazzurri in a video on his YouTube channel.
Frattesi’s situation at Inter has really come under the spotlight in the last week or so.
Reportedly, the 25-year-old has become fed up with his lack of playing time.
Frattesi has featured this season. However, virtually the only opportunities he’s had to start matches have come due to injuries to other midfielders.
For Frattesi, who is a regular starter for the Italian national team, this is not sufficient.
Pedulla: “Davide Frattesi Not Happy At Inter – But Inter Won’t Sell For Less Than €45M+”
SportItalia transfer expert Pedulla explained that “The situation right now is that they want €45 million.”
“Plus €5 million in add-ons,” he continued. “Reaching €50 million.”
“That’s the figure that they want.”
“Then, Frattesi might not be happy,” Pedulla said. “Considering that he has three players ahead of him who are virtually unmovable.”
“Barella, Calhanoglu, and Mkhitaryan.”
“But I feel that he should have already been aware of that when he joined,” Pedulla said.
“Inzaghi has a successful system of play,” Pedulla continued. “He’s not going to change the way the team plays for Frattesi.”
“I don’t see what he could be doing any differently.”
“I asked, and that’s the asking price I was told,” Pedulla said.
“And Inter don’t want any kind of swap deals. Eventually, they’ll look for a new midfielder on their own.”
“That’s the price,” Pedulla said of the €45 million figure. “Nothing less than that.”
