Yahoo Sports Ismaïla Sarr agrees personal terms with Crystal Palace
Ismaïla Sarr (26) has agreed personal terms in principle with Crystal Palace for a four-year contract, according to a report by The Athletic. However, the outlet writes that the Premier League side have not yet found an agreement with Olympique de Marseille with the two clubs said to be apart on their evaluations.
Marseille had recently rejected an opening offer from Crystal Palace for the player who only joined the French side last summer from Watford FC. Sarr had a disappointing debut campaign in La Provence, with the player already linked with a departure in January with Nottingham Forest and Villarreal rumoured to be interested.

However, Sarr ultimately remained at the club for the rest of the campaign. In part, this was because then-manager Gennaro Gattuso opposed Sarr’s departure. Gattuso had not relied on Sarr frequently throughout his short tenure in Marseille but intervened in his transfer believing him to provide an interesting option.
