The Baie-Comeau Drakkar have acquired 2006-born right winger Alexis Michaud from the Charlottetown Islanders in exchange for 2025 NHL draft prospect Jabez Seymour, a 2027 first, 2027 fourth (from the Saint John Sea Dogs) and a 2027 fifth round pick (also from Saint John).

Michaud, 18, has 20 points (10+10) across 28 games with the Charlottetown Islanders this season -- good enough for fourth on the team in points. He has yet to have any NHL or NCAA affiliation.

Michaud is the second major addition the Drakkar have made this trade period, following the addition of 2005-born right winger Justin Gendron from Victoriaville.

On the other side, Michaud also is the second major departure from the Charlottetown Islanders this week, behind Egor Goriunov -- who the team dealt to the Armada.

Seymour, 17, potted five points (3+2) over 25 games with the Drakkar this season.

The former 2023 18th overall pick will look to kickstart his play for the new team.
