Ipswich Town have announced the signing of Chiedozie Ogbene from Luton Town.

He is the 12th signing of a busy summer for the Tractor Boys as they adjust to life in the Premier League, having lost their opening two fixtures to Liverpool and Manchester City.

Ogbene signs for a reported £8m fee and has signed a four-year contract at Portman Road.

The Republic of Ireland international, who has 20 caps for his country, contributed four goals and an assist for Luton in the top flight last season but couldn’t prevent their relegation.
