Inzaghi: ‘Inter accustomed to Scudetto and Champions League pressure’
Simone Inzaghi assures Inter are ‘accustomed’ to the pressures of the Scudetto race and Champions League, as they rotate the squad in the trip to Lecce.
It kicks off at the Stadio Via del Mare at 17.00 GMT.
The Nerazzurri have a packed fixture list at the moment, as after the Supercoppa Italiana, next week they have a decisive Champions League clash with AS Monaco and then the Derby della Madonnina against rivals Milan in Serie A.
With that in mind, Inzaghi engages in a little squad rotation for the trip to Lecce, including a rare start for Davide Frattesi.

“We know that Lecce are in good shape, they lost only once in their last six here and that was in the final minutes against Lazio,” Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.
“Frattesi and Zielinski have a lot of quality, they played only part of the game on Wednesday and showed how much they wanted to give their contribution.”
Napoli are keeping the pressure on Inter and setting the pace at the top of the table, having beaten Atalanta and Juventus in back-to-back Serie A games.
“We’ve been in the Scudetto race for many years, it is Napoli and Atalanta this season, it was Juventus and Milan last year, so we are accustomed to this,” assured Inzaghi.
“We know February and March tend to be the most decisive matches for all the tournaments.”
Something’s got to give, because Lecce lost only one of their last six Serie A home games, whereas Inter won seven in a row on their travels.
This could also be an historic day for Inzaghi, who is on 199 Serie A victories in 331 games, so could beat Max Allegri’s record as the fastest coach to reach 200 wins in 338 matches.
