The 27-year-old netted his 12th league goal on Monday to seal his side’s 2-0 win over the Lariani at the San Siro and become joint Capocannoniere of Serie A.

The duo are also the only names from the Italian top tier featuring in the top 10 of the Golden Shoe rankings, with their 12 nets having earned them 24 points, considering a coefficient of two points per goal.
Thuram caught up with the Italy international’s goal tally by scoring in each of his last four league outings for the Nerazzurri, as he is close to breaking his record of 13 Serie A goals in a single season.
Robert Lewandowski currently leads the race to win the award, as he picked up 32 points as a result of his 16 La Liga goals with Barcelona.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah follows in second with 30 points, while Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane is placed in third, having racked up 28 points by netting 14 times.
