Inter ready to loan Palacios to Monza
Inter defender Tomas Palacios is reported to be on the verge of a loan move to Monza in order to get Serie A playing time.
The central defender was notably not part of the Nerazzurri squad travelling for tomorrow’s match against Lecce.
Multiple sources including Tuttomercatoweb, Sky Sport Italia and more all claim that Inter have agreed a dry loan to Monza for the next six months.
Inter invested in Palacios
Palacios was a big investment for Inter, arriving from Independiente Rivadavia at a cost of €6.5m plus up to €4.5m in add-ons.
However, he has made only two brief Serie A appearances and one in the Coppa Italia for a total 26 minutes of football.
It is not enough and Inter decided it was better to let the 21-year-old go out on loan to gain some Serie A experience.
The clubs have agreed terms, now it is up to Palacios to decide whether he wants to join rock bottom Monza.
