Yahoo Sports Inter raise funds with Carboni and Agoume transfers
Inter are selling off some of their youth products to raise funds, with Valentin Carboni reportedly agreeing terms for Olympique Marseille and Lucien Agoumé sold to Sevilla.
The Nerazzurri have been keeping a tight rein on their finances in recent years and the transfer of power from Suning to Oaktree has not changed that approach.
What has allowed them to keep hold of their top stars is the snapping up of free agents like Piotr Zalewski and Mehdi Taremi, plus the sale of youth products at a profit.
Carboni and Agoume leaving Inter
According to Footmercato, Inter have finally agreed terms for forward Carboni to join Olympique Marseille on a paid loan with option to buy at the end of the season.
It is believed to be a fee of €1m for the loan, plus option to buy for €35m, but with Inter retaining a buy-back clause set at around €40m.
Another deal secured today was for midfielder Agoumé to Sevilla, at a cost of €4m plus 50 per cent of the sell-on fee, as cited by Fabrizio Romano.
The 22-year-old already spent the last six months on loan with Sevilla, having previously played for Spezia, Stade Brestois and Troyes.
