Inter Milan President Expecting ‘Brilliant’ Match Vs Lazio In Serie A: ‘Two Teams Fighting For The Top’
Inter Milan President Beppe Marotta is expecting a “brilliant” match against Lazio in Serie A on Monday evening.
Marotta spoke to Italian news service ANSA, via FCInterNews. He also expressed his happiness that the match will be free-to-air on broadcaster DAZN in Italy.
On Monday evening, Inter will travel to Roma to take on Lazio.
And this will be a massive match.
The Nerazzurri and the Biancocelesti are currently level on points. The Nerazzurri do, however, have a game in hand on their rivals from the capital.
Both Inter and Lazio are currently in what has proven to be a fierce and unpredictable title race.
Atalanta are currently top of the table. Meanwhile, Napoli have had their title hopes dented – but hardly extinguished – by a recent defeat against Lazio.
Then, Fiorentina have been having a blazing season. They have earned a place of their own in the title conversation.

The stakes for Monday’s match could hardly be higher.
There is a real sense that the match will have an impact on the title race. And not just for Inter and Lazio – but potentially for the likes of Atalanta, Napoli, and Fiorentina.
Inter President Marotta anticipates that “It will be a brilliant match.”
“And it will see two teams fighting for the places at the top,” he continued.
And Marotta gave his thoughts on Monday’s match being on free-to-air television in Italy “All of us – clubs, players, broadcasters – have a common goal,” he said.
“To bring together and involve as many fans as possible.”
“Lazio and Inter being on free-to-air TV is a positive step in this direction,” said Marotta.
“We’re playing away from home,” the Inter President noted. “We can allow the Nerazzurri fans to feel close to the team by watching the match on the screen.”
