Inter Milan Must Offload Ex West Ham United & Lazio Forwards To Move For Genoa Star

Inter Milan must sell both Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa if they are to sign Albert Gudmundsson this summer.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, via FCInter1908.

Inter are considering how to complete their attack for the season to come.

The Nerazzurri are already making one big signing in the form of striker Mehdi Taremi. The 31-year-old Iranian international is joining on a free transfer when his contract with Porto expires.

Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez will leave Inter at the end of his contract.

The Chilean’s deal runs out at the end of the current month. In a few days, he will become a free agent.

But Inter are still targeting one more big name signing in attack.

The Nerazzurri want to sign Genoa and Iceland forward Albert Gudmundsson.

Inter Must Offload Arnautovic & Correa In Order To Sign Albert Gudmundsson

According to Di Marzio, Gudmundsson remains Inter’s top target in attack.

The Nerazzurri see the 26-year-old former AZ Alkmaar forward – who is proficient at dribbling in tight spaces – as having qualities that the other forwards already in their squad lack.

However, Di Marzio reports, Inter would have to make a couple of sales in attack in order to sign Gudmundsson.

The first would be that of former Lazio, Sevilla, and Sampdoria forward Correa.

The 29-year-old is a player who Inter want to finally sell this summer. There is little question of that.

Correa is back at Inter after a disastrous loan spell at Marseille last season.

However, given that the Argentine’s contract runs out at the end of next June, Inter want to sell Corrrea once and for all.

Meanwhile, Di Marzio reports, Correa is not the only player who Inter would have to sell before they can move for Gudmundsson.

The Sky transfer expert reports that the Nerazzurri must also sell former West Ham United and Stoke City striker Arnautovic.
