Inter Milan Loaned-Out Striker To Eventually Complete Permanent Transfer To OFI Crete – Formula Revealed
Inter Milan striker Eddie Salcedo should eventually follow up on his loan stint at OFI Crete by sealing a permanent transfer.
The 22-year-old completed a switch to the Greek side yesterday. Both clubs announced the player has moved on a temporary basis.
But according to Tuttosport via FcInter1908, the agreement could hide other implications.
The Turin-based newspaper believes the young forward will end up signing for Crete on a permanent basis.
Salcedo will pen a two-year deal with his new employers, while Inter will receive a sell-on fee in case of a future resale. However, the source doesn’t mention the percentage.
The Genova native has Colombian heritage, but has represented Italy in several age groups, including the U21.
He started his career at Genoa before moving to Inter in the summer of 2018. He spent one season with the Nerazzurri’s Primavera squad, and has been on the move ever since.

The young striker had loan spells at Hellas Verona, Spezia, Genoa and Bari among others.
Last season, he started his campaign in Spain with Eldense, before making a mid-season switch to Lecco.
This summer, he spent the pre-season among Simone Inzaghi’s ranks. He even made a few appearances in the friendly tests while the manager was short on attacking options.
Nevertheless, Salcedo was never truly part of Inzaghi’s plans for the season.
The 22-year-old took advantage of Greece’s delayed transfer deadline day to seal a late move to OFI Crete.
